NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases is one of the premier Orthopaedic Hospitals in the world specializing in all types of orthopaedic injuries. NYU HJD has a distinguished tradition of medical innovation. The physicians are specially trained in the prompt assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal injury and pathology. Services include the treatment of: orthopaedic and joint injuries, acute spinal injuries, muscle pain and injuries to the hands and feet. Dr. Kirschenbaum is a Clinical Attending at The Hospital for Joint Diseases and NYU Medical Center. The Hospital for Joint Diseases is one of the oldest and finest Orthopaedic Hospitals in the country. Dr. Kirschenbaum has his own operating room there at specific times dedicated to joint replacement surgery.

Westchester Orthopaedic Institute

The Westchester Orthopaedic Institute is a section of White Plains Hospital Center dedicated to a comprehensive approach to the delivery of Joint Replacement Care. The combined involvement of Surgeons, Nurses, Physical Therapists, Home Health Care specialists, and Social Workers contribute to a complete clinical experience.

Dr. Kirschenbaum, one of the founding surgeons of the Institute, is involved in assisting to develop critical, high quality joint replacement programs. He has operating and admitting privileges at The Institute.

Dr. Kirschenbaum is a consultant at Burke Rehabilitation. Many of his joint replacement patients go to Burke Rehabilitation after surgery for "short-term" rehabilitation allowing access to this national, high quality resource.
